Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

We brought December in right, here in London, with snow on the first day!  It was fun to have the snow but quite cold and wet as we ventured out to pick up trash and pray for Harlesdon. The good news was the public transport was not effected too bad at first...

The snow melted just in time for our mini-outreach in central London but returned the next week and this time stuck a bit more.  Last weekend, the girls from "Room Zero" (my room) went out to enjoy the Christmas market on the Southbank.  It was slushy and slippery.  Jordan's boots did not survive the day but we had a fun adventure!

It was so beautiful out there even though the public transport was a nightmare!  We were crammed like sardines on the train and kept having to take creative routes to get about. We had a lot of funny stories from the day and we even had a laugh with some of our fellow passengers.

At the end of the day, I was so thankful that my shoes were waterproof!  Once the sun sets, it is so bitterly cold, but it is so beautiful to see all the lights!  They really do it up big time here for the holiday--even in our neighborhood there are tons of lights and a tree and a big lite up sign across the High Street that reads "Merry Christmas"!  It is very festive!
