What's Next?
What a challenging season, this last year and a half has been! I know, in time, the Lord will reveal more and more but for now, I cling to His faithfulness and celebrate the heart he has refined in me to look at the things that don't go according to my plans and say, "what's next, Lord?" A few months back I took a trip to the mid-west, met some great people, and visited a couple of vibrant church communities. It was refreshing and inspiring and exciting in many ways, but after returning home, I asked myself what did I really want to be doing with my life in this new phase? I longed to continue to serve the Lord and community full-time and to do that in the country I have grown to love so dearly...England. When people speak of their "call" to India or Africa, others seem contented in understanding that pull and releasing those people to go and serve where they feel placed. For me, it is the same.
